Earlier today, I checked out the 0.9 system I was in using my directional scanner, and I saw that there was around three dozen wrecks in the system comprising of all kinds of ships.
However I couldn't locate any of them dispite repeated scans with them being shown, but nothing showed on the overview, as the distance to any wreck was shown as - on the directional scanner.
I put a question about these wrecks in the local channel, and one of the eight pilots in system said that were probably mission ship wrecks.
Is it possible to locate these wrecks using the directional scanner or using probes, as its sooo frustrating seeing all that salvage and loot being out of reach.

Yep, it's all trash anyway, if you're looking for isk the way to go is drones and abandoned/forgotten mobile tractors. There's good money in recovering lost drones, particular t2 one's and geckos are stupidly expensive so you're looking at an easy 60 million per gecko you find.
B****r, Thanks for the Gecko tip. I'll bear it in mind.
On the only bright note, I managed to locate my first cosmic signature using probes, but it was an armed camp, and I didn't have so much as a pea shooter, so that was out of bounds as well. |

Yeah, I know you can do that, and I'll be doing it at some point in the future, after I've gone through the revenge phase of my Eve...experience/career. |
